Looking to support your front line workers? See how Camila and the Elaluz team recently spread some light with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and how you can get involved too!
"When I started Elaluz I always knew the brand would go beyond beauty.
The name Elaluz means she is light and we're excited to kick off our most important brand pillar to celebrate and support those spreading light in our communities. During this challenging time we feel so grateful for our front line medical workers. This past week we stopped by our local hospital, Cedar Sinai Los Angeles, to share some of our EWG Verified™ products and show them our support.”

If you are interested in supporting your front line workers, here are a few of our favorite ways to get involved and spread the light.
1. Donate or Volunteer to help support free meals for those in need with World Central Kitchen
WCK is an amazing organization working to distribute fresh meals to communities in need during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. This team creates jobs and supports local restaurants across America to provide free, individually packaged food to economically affected families, seniors isolating to stay safe and our front line heroes who are working at max capacity.
2. Donate to help essential supplies arrive to front line responders with Flexport’s Frontline Responder’s Fund
Flexport is a worldwide technology-based logistics and global-trade company that is determined to help humanitarian and relief organizations get aid to people in need and donate goods and funds in a large, impactful way.
With COVID-19 related essential items still in shortage, Flexport is using their logistics expertise to support sourcing and transportation of necessary supplies all over the country.
3. Send an expression of gratitude to the hospital front lines across America.
A little thanks goes a long way and with so many healthcare workers still moving at hyperspeed to keep our communities healthy and safe, it’s more important than ever to shout our gratitude loud. Many hospitals and healthcare organizations around the country have created platforms for communities to share a few words to keep the spirits of our healthcare workers high. Here are just a few ways you can continue to spread the light through words:
• Share thanks with the 20 million+ worldwide community on Nurse.org
• Send gratitude directly to the staff at UChicago Medicine
• Get creative and refresh your window signs with words of appreciation
If you’re interested in sending thanks to those directly within your community, check your local hospital’s website for similar initiatives to share the warmth.
Thank you to all of the frontline workers!
